  • We schedule 3-6 months forward...(March, April & May 2009)

  • I average 30 Hours Primetimes Pre-Booked up per week, Early birds

  • I can usually accommodate 4-6 weeks before your day...

  • Reservations are best 2-4 weeks in advance. 

  • Please don't procrastinate! Start  soon feel  more prepared,  less hurried.

  • All Reservations  must be paid for online or cash 1 week in advance...

  • Its best to have a standing regular weekly time.

  • I cannot afford to reserve time for you, to have a no-show.

  • If I reserve your time, I can't work somewhere else or for another couple,

  • If have to ask permission from the studio owners to use the space at a certain time...

  • They do us a favor, so be nice and stable. Don't flip-flop or I look flaky on your behalf.

  • Evenings are prime time- full for group classes. You need semi-privates.

  • Bookings are Tentative until Confirmed

  • You must call or email  to confirm your time/days,  touch base.... 

  • Please read the orientation policy,  I am flexible and will make time for you,

  • If you call 8 weeks before, ok, then if you sign up 4-6 weeks before, We are rushed! 

  • I recommend to start 3 months before the Date... please don't wait!!!

  • At minimum Bi Weekly, 3-6 meetings minimum  

  • should cover your routine sufficiently

  • Plus general social dance skills....

  • You're welcome to take more after the honeymoon... 

  • Remember until I see your learning speed, I can't suggest how long you need...

$356 ($156/lesson) rate is per couple, for 2 hours x3 + Your DVD

 

 3 Sessions,  I offer 3, 2h lessons= 6H total minimum

  • 1st Meeting (2hrs)  I Set & You two Learn Your entire Routine Choreo.

  • 2nd session,(1-2hrs) Corrections, Music phrasing, Layers of Detail

  • 3rd  (1-2hrs) Rehears two weeks before the date for retention..& Fun,

  • Learn 3 other Basic Social dances, reception & beyond....

  • All lessons are semi-privates, I teach one or two couple at a time,

  • My dance partner or staff may be present on side of ballrooms.

Music Selection:

  • Buy/Bring Original CD + 4 copies of your songs on CD,

  • 1 copy in a case for K to keep

  • Text me your song + singer, I will research/listen, before you arrive.

  • Make backup copy for DJ/Band/MC. 

  • (WITH THE TRACK#1 LABELED)

  • 1 CD for each partner to listen in car.

  • MP3/IPods are cool, you can hear them in our room with the speakers.

  • Laptop speakers do not play loud enough, we have the cord to connect.

  • Pick a song that is Danceable, that moves you.

  • Choose a song with a clear ending, and defined verses and chorus.

  • I recommend "It had to be you" by Frank Sinatra, or Michael Bouble.

  • Songs are either Ballads(2/4), Foxtrots (4/4), Waltz (3/4 timing)

  • Country 2 Step, Slow-dance, Rumbas, Cha-cha's, or another style.

  • Bring your compilations of other songs in reception

  • (Parents, Father/Daughter  Mother/Son,  Latin)

  • We offer an music editing add on service for $56.

  • We can cut the length shorter, add a prelude, or mix.

  • Do you have a band?  Will they play the CD version?

Space Planning:

  • I'll need to know  seating layout for alignment, ask Ms. Caterer...

  • What size and shape is the dance floor? 20x30 rectangle?

  • Are there 10 tables on 2 or 3 sides?   Sweetheart Table?

  • Is there an entry double doors, an arch, a stairway?

  • Which walls are Backdrop focal points vs. non-photogenic?

  • Don't  face a buffet table or DJ/band or dead wall space for turns, 

  • Or auntie takes a picture of back of your head, (you block the view)

Progress: Your at Home Practices

  • You'll need to practice 30 minutes at least twice, with out me,

  • Hopefully, practice after your 1st lesson, & at the rehearsal dinner....

  • Some long distance couples have to squeeze in time together....

  • If you live nearby, practice the song weekly for 15 minutes,

  • Try dancing the routine to different songs for variety! Be musical.

  • Don't be lazy! Don't just giggle/ collapse, retain the steps, pause/flow,

  • Use good posture....be disciplined.

  • Think Ahead of the next step...

  • Use the Printout tool I GIVE YOU, chart your coarse.

  • Watch the DVD.

  • Smile have fun, stay committed to the dance routine.

  • Don't give into doubt. :)  Have a positive outlook.

  • "We want an upbeat dance, not a boring circle sway."

  • "My fiancé is a total beginner, needs a lot of help & extra time."

  • "We remembered most of our steps, except these combinations..."

  • "We want it 80% CHOREOGRAPHED and 20% wing, play by ear."

Proper Dance Attire: Casual Elegant

  • Dress up for your lessons! 

  • I have a camera phone!  

  • Ballroom attire only.

  • Ladies wear a long WHITE skirt similar to your dress shape.

  • ('cause men need to get comfy dancing into big poofy fluff),

  • With leggings under ok.

  • Men Bring a Jacket, if you plan to wear yours (It's warmer, restrictive).

  • Men, Bring an Extra Shirt if u sweat.

  • Please! No pajamas, Shorts, Scrubs, Old sweat pants...etc.

  • NO short mini skirts..... knee length required.

  • Jeans or cargo shorts ok if not too tight, I prefer Dress Pants.

  • Sports Tank or Bras Required for Ladies, No loose camisole tops.

  • Dress in layers, form-fitting, so I can see your posture.

  • Bring over sweater if cool for warm-up.

  • We film your dress rehearsal choreography for you.

  • Look neat on camera.

  • I prefer Black & White clothing & shoes.

Proper Dance Shoes:

  • Bring Dressy Heels in a bag & wear Flat Sneakers or slippers (required).

  • SANDALS can FALL OFF but are great too,

  • No barefoot practices Bring socks.

  • (Your pretty feet need a break), Ankle straps required for dress rehearsal.

  • Ladies do not dance in heels while learning foundation. Flats necessary.

Goal Achieving:

  • Most couples prefer to focus on one prioritized goal,

  • Master the reception routine first, before ....

  • Say learning, Salsa for the bridal or engagement party.... 

  • Use visualization techniques.

  • Keep Breathing.  

  • Enjoy! Smile :)

  • Other  teachers & studios may charge $2,500 for less equivalent service,

  • and paying such is fair.

  • I invest a lot of my own time, money, energy, equipment, home office, coaching,

  • to be the best at what I do in my career. 

  • I have not yet even broke even.  I have never ending business expenses.

  • I'm in this for the long-haul, too.

  • I'm not perfect, I'm often 5 minutes behind schedule. That is why we block 2 hours.

  • Show up if you rent the hour or you must pay for the rental at least,

  • If you cancel for any frivolous reason.

  • I screen/filter  my students.  I do not accept half commitments.

  • Beginners are ok, I expect awkwardness, just be courteous at all times.

  • You are a reflection of me. I survive by teaching.

  • I am not sloppy.  I'm polished.

  • If you make me look bad, The studio owners may not allow my/our  company next season.

  • Only on rare special circumstances do I teach in residences.

  • I have an associate that will teach in your home if needed for $756. for 6 hours.

  • The Studios are not liable or engaged in your business with me.

  • They don't need any headache, and we want to delight all the members of the ballroom.

  • Participation is recommended for individuals in good heath, as advised by their doctors.

  • Assume at own risk.  I do not currently carry any general liability insurance for you.

  • I go slow, and show proper injury prevention policies. I'm conservative and careful.

  • If you are dis-obedient to my advice for safe practices, I may discontinue service.

  • Payment is Required before we begin the lessons, We do not extend credit until after class.

  • If you have a suggestion, write an email to me,  I'll answer within 7-14 days.

  • Or call, leave a message.  For Immediate Attention, TEXT me.

  • My production assistant, may relay a message if I'm in class.

Kelly Anne LeSal has been planning events in the metro Hollywood, FL area for nearly two decades. 

Kelly is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Florida International University since 1998. 

She followed this with a Meeting Planning Certificate from Hollywood, FL College in 1999. 

After interning with several event planning and wedding consulting firms, Kelly became passionate about planning weddings.

 "I saw the stress that brides went through and wanted so badly to help them", stated Kelly in a 1992 magazine article about wedding day stress. 

"I knew I could. I love bringing lifelong dreams to life."
Kelly returned to the classroom and completed the Professional Planners Certification program through the Coalition of Bridal Consultants. 

Kelly is now an accredited Professional Bridal Consultant.

Kelly soon opened Silver Bells Wedding planning.
Although she was qualified to plan any event, she wanted to focus her energy primarily on weddings. 

She opened her own business, so she would be free of commissions and any other compromising arrangements.
